Young people are the future and WI have the ambition to make our company as well as the live entertainment sector an inspiring place to work and to grow. We therefore actively promote internship opportunities on platforms of schools and universities as well as on our website on the career pages.
5 talented young people learned to translate theory into practice and all of them evaluated their internship as a very relevant, pleasant hands-on experience. Domains of expertise: electro, automation, innovation and R&D. For 2 students the internship on master level rounded up their studies in a successful way.

Besides internships and projects, an energy audit has been conducted by students specialized in environmental technology of the Thomas More institute. A so called ‘mini enterprise ‘ was set up and reported state of the art of WICREATIONS as to energy consumption and efficiency together with an action plan to be set live in 2023.

WI are screening possibilities with the aim to select an initiative that best creates chances to which we can contribute for people, preferably youngsters, from disadvantaged niche groups. We specifically aim to empower those persons that experience a higher risk of poverty, social exclusion and discrimination than the general population, including, but not limited to, ethnic minorities, migrants and refugees.
Students have given us brainfood with their ACADEMY+ suggestion. WI therefore see a strong initiative on several support and collaboration levels: financial input, education, job opportunities but also making our venue available at fixed moments as a free creative rehearsal and training hub for young talents that want to make music or express themselves.
