During the pandemic WI invested in digital transformation resulting in updated, data supported and user friendly platforms together with a structural social media and communication policy. Content had already shifted towards diversity, inclusion and integration before we even stepped into the UN program.
We listened to our people and researched on the trends that kept everybody in the sector awake. Key values, a uniting mission and an inclusive business concept were devised, formulated, shared and reflected throughout the renewed WICREATIONS website (September 2021).

Our business concept is to provide an as large as possible range of innovative, durable and complete solutions in stage motion user friendly to such a level that everyone involved in the creative and technical elements of scenic & staging can fully benefit from them.
WI installed a permanent sustainability team composed of a board of 6 WI people with various expertises and a variable team of external experts in the fields of finance, legislation, environmental and waste management topics and licensing issues.
Communication was further professionalized in the publication of this dedicated sustainability page.
Inclusion was made actionable in
Social media being a reflection of modern society thus portraying all nationalities, ages and genders in a positive way
Dedicated posts to make tech and warehouse jobs attractive for women who are still severely under represented in our sector

Where necessary, our existing policies will be updated with the aim to create an increasingly diverse company.
Though WI as an employer, place to work and place to be, never exclude on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, social class or education, we are well aware of the fact that we can always do more to ensure that we are being proactive in embedding diversity and inclusion in everything that we do.
